Assistant National Controller

Rob Hickling (Badenoch and Strathspey Orienteering Club) joins the Sprint World Orienteering Championships 2024 team as Assistant National Controller.

Third Planner Appointed

The Organising Committee are pleased to announce the appointment of Ross McLennan (Forth Valley Orienteers) as the third planner for the World Orienteering Championships 2024.

Planners Appointed

The Organising Committee confirmed the appointment of two of the planners/course setters.

Filming in Edinburgh

Thanks to funding from event partners EventScotland, a film crew from the Czech Republic has recently visited Edinburgh and will be producing promotional videos and footage.

Event Director Announced

Paul McGreal has been appointed as Event Director and wasted no time in putting forward his vision and ideas for staging a successful WOC 2024.
